2014.5
So... it's be a minute since I've updated this thing. Here goes:
Well first, I am now officially a grad school graduate. A few weeks ago I got my Masters degree in Art Education. I can't even tell you how happy I am to be finished. Grad school was fun, but boy was it taxing! Definitely going to enjoy my free time :)
Which brings me to my next topic -- my creator owned comic. If you recall my last journal entry talked about my foray into the creator-owned comic world, alas it had to be put on the back burner for a spell because 1) those last few weeks/months of grad school were killer! and 2) I accepted a gig from Zenescope Entertainment to
2014 and beyond...
Been a while since I updated my journal here, and with March quickly approaching, now seems like a perfect time to let you awesome folks in on the goings on of your favorite NorthChavis :)
2014 IS GOING TO BE MY YEAR!!
No if, ands, or buts about it. I'm SUPER excited for this year for several different reasons. #1: I will be completing graduate school in May! That will be the culmination of 3 long years of study. But beyond that, it'll free up my time to focus on several projects that have been long-dormant. Which brings me to #2: I'm going to be crafting my first comic book property from scratch! I've been noodling with an idea for the bet
Commission for 1-Yr Subscription...?
Anyone interested? NOTE ME if you are.
Thanks,
Stephen

If I may be so bold, I think both are winners and (almost) fails in their own rights...please, let me explain.
In terms of rock and background textures, you lost, BUT your use of rain creates a powerful combination in your version.
I defiantly prefer the textures and tones of Batman's suit in Peter's version, but I prefer the look you gave the image, by putting a light in every window, making the Bat a lot darker in his position...
Yes, you, like the rest of us, have a way to go...you're just a lot closer to the goal then most of us XD
My skills are available in my gallery, so I can hardly offer a pro crit, this is just what I see between the 2 images...
