Hey, so anyone wanna help me out with a 12-month subscription in exchange for my glorious coloring skills?
Let me know. Thanks.

2014.5
So... it's be a minute since I've updated this thing. Here goes:
Well first, I am now officially a grad school graduate. A few weeks ago I got my Masters degree in Art Education. I can't even tell you how happy I am to be finished. Grad school was fun, but boy was it taxing! Definitely going to enjoy my free time :)
Which brings me to my next topic -- my creator owned comic. If you recall my last journal entry talked about my foray into the creator-owned comic world, alas it had to be put on the back burner for a spell because 1) those last few weeks/months of grad school were killer! and 2) I accepted a gig from Zenescope Entertainment to
2014 and beyond...
Been a while since I updated my journal here, and with March quickly approaching, now seems like a perfect time to let you awesome folks in on the goings on of your favorite NorthChavis :)
2014 IS GOING TO BE MY YEAR!!
No if, ands, or buts about it. I'm SUPER excited for this year for several different reasons. #1: I will be completing graduate school in May! That will be the culmination of 3 long years of study. But beyond that, it'll free up my time to focus on several projects that have been long-dormant. Which brings me to #2: I'm going to be crafting my first comic book property from scratch! I've been noodling with an idea for the bet
Commission for 1-Yr Subscription...?
Anyone interested? NOTE ME if you are.
Thanks,
Stephen

I'd rather put up works that are complete and fulfilling than post crap (which is why my deviantart has hardly anything up )
I think it's his/her choice... but if I were that artist, I would seriously not post anything at all. I mean, why post sub-par work? Just to get pageviews? Publicity? Especially with all the deadlines... Gotta manage the priorities first ya? That's what I think (and what I do).
As for undiscerning people out there who can't tell the difference between good and bad art.... I believe there are cases where the people comment and fave it as a show of support for the artist. Perhaps the art really is crappy (idk since I dunno artist in question), but such support.. in my case, would really help me and drive me to produce better art. But of course, sadly, there are just people who say 'nice!' to everything (perhaps to garner more pageviews for themselves!)
tl;dr, I really don't know. But continue doing what you deem fit
